Recently, our products formally passed the certification of Xiaopeng Automobile, which marks the successful leap of Xingtai Steel to the certification of new energy vehicle , following the certification by 35 automobile manufacturing OEMs and parts manufacturers in Europe, the United States, Japan, Korea and China.
As a domestic production base and high-tech enterprise which produces advanced automotive cold heading steel wire, Xingtai Steel has the only engineering research center of wire rod in Hebei Province and has built three major testing platforms. After more than ten years of research, more than 70 scientific and technological achievements have reached domestic and international advanced level. At present, our products have been widely used in Honda, General Motors, SAIC, Ford, Hyundai, Shen Long, Geely and other well-known domestic and international automobile brands.
As early as 2007, Xingtai Steel was the first one in China to pass the BSI Automotive Industry Quality Management System Certification, opening the way to the development, production and certification of automotive steel. Since 2017, targeting the market opportunity, Xingtai Steel has been developing new steel grades adapted to the application of new energy automobile companies. After 7-year efforts, we finally passed the certification on April 6, 2023, and became the first batch of qualified supply manufacturers of XiaoPeng Auto.
